Depths and Elevations

Before entering any log data in the main block of the log, the borehole depth should be entered. The borehole depth is usually (depending upon the template) displayed in a column in the main block of the log. There is no limit to the depth of a borehole log. The depth entered must be in the same units as the input units for the template.

The depth and elevation parameters of the borehole log can be entered and edited by:

• selecting the Depths & Elevations menu item of the Edit menu,
• clicking the right mouse button and select the Depths & Elevations menu item from the popup menu, or
• clicking the left mouse button inside the depth or elevation column of the borehole log.
