Exchange files are used to transfer borehole log or template data between projects or to other companies. The data in these files is stored as ASCII text in a similar format to version 2 files. All exchange files have the extension “.lg3” for borehole logs and ".tm3" for templates. After the data has been exported from the current project it can then be imported into another project.
To export the currently displayed borehole log, select the Exchange File menu item from the Export Data submenu. The Export Exchange File form will be displayed. Specify the file name for the borehole log and then press the Save button.
