In version 4, there are two types of tables that can be shown on a log, log based tables and template based tables.
For template based tables all of the layout and formatting of the table is specified in the template, and only the data can be entered in the log. This type of table is useful when the location and format of the table should be the same for all logs.
Log based tables are added to a specific log and the layout and formatting are specified for that log. This type of table is useful if the data is only to be shown on the one log.
