The Environmental Data Management System (EDMS) is used to schedule, record, quality control, import, report and store all of your environmental data. A wide variety of environmental data can be managed by EDMS, including; soil, rock, groundwater, surface water, solids, fluids, air, biological, and meteorological data.

The EDMS Field application is a separate program that can be run on tablets and laptops to collect environmental data and then send this data remotely to the EDMS application. The field data consists of sample and station information and is transmitted as Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) files to EDMS.

EDMS Lab is a free program provided by GAEA Technologies, that can be used to enter and upload analytical results to a client's Environmental Data Management System (EDMS) application. These analytical results are uploaded to a client's database by either FTP or email as an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) file.

This is for more advanced users of the Environmental Data Management System (EDMS) in StrataExplorer. Completion of level 1 is not required but recommended. EDMS can be used to schedule sampling tasks on a singular or re-occurring basis. Notifications can be sent throughout the work process by email or SMS (text message).

Topics will include creating and editing tasks, and using notifications.

This is for advanced users of the Environmental Data Management System (EDMS) in StrataExplorer. Completion of levels 1 and 2 is highly recommended. Lab analyses data can either be entered directly into EDMS or imported from Excel or EDMS Lab. After the data has been entered or imported into EDMS, it can be used to create a variety of Excel tables and charts.

Topics will include importing lab data and creating tables and charts.

GaeaSynergy is an application suite for geoscientific analyses, mapping, data display and data management. It uses the synergy within the geoscientific data to effectively and efficiently fulfill the needs of several industries.

The program can be used to evaluate contaminants, soil and rock properties, minerals deposits, and oil and gas deposits. It is ideal for the environmental, geotechnical, mining, oil sands, and petroleum industries.

The Geotechnical Data Management System (GDMS) integrates geotechnical testing and quality control with a laboratory information management system. GDMS is used to perform a wide variety of geotechnical tests and store the data and results in a managed database.

GDMS standardizes the procedures for the testing and reporting of geotechnical data within and across projects. It is fully integrated with other modules within GaeaSynergy for visualization of samples and test results.

Using the MIGRATEv9 software, contaminant transport from multiple sources, either at the surface or buried, can be modeled quickly and accurately in two-dimensions.

Pocket ESA has been designed to minimize the amount of time required to generate standard Environmental Site Assessment reports and to maximize the flexibility of the final report. The data can be collected either on a Pocket, Tabloid, Laptop, or Desktop PC.

The POLLUTEv7 program provides fast, accurate, and comprehensive contaminant migration analysis capabilities. This program implements a one and a half dimensional solution to the advection-dispersion equation.

Projects are the primary building block of GaeaSynergy and are used to encapsulate all the data in the application and its modules. This seminar is recommended as an introduction to using projects in GaeaSynergy and its modules. It will enable participants to get started with the program efficiently and effectively.

Topics will include creating and editing projects, coordinate systems, project displays and views, and using basemaps.

Level 2 is meant for more advanced users. Completion of Level 1 is recommended but not required. Page documents are used to display and print various project data. These documents can contain one or more maps, well/boring logs, cross-sections, title blocks, scale bars, legends, and 3D displays. Page templates are used to store common layouts for page documents.

Topics will include creating and editing page templates and documents.

This is level is meant for more advanced users. Completion of levels 1 and 2 are highly recommended, but not required. A wide variety of data can be imported into StrataExplorer. This seminar will cover the most common data that is imported.

Topics will include importing and exporting projects, importing WinLoG and WinFence data from previous versions, and importing GIS layers.

The WinFence cross-section extension module of GaeaSynergy can be used to quickly create detailed full color cross-sections. The environmental version of this module has been specifically designed for the environmental industry.

The WinFence version 3 cross-section extension module of GaeaSynergy can be used to quickly create detailed full color cross-sections. The geotechnical version of this module has been specifically designed for the geotechnical industry.

The WinFence version 3 cross-section extension module of GaeaSynergy can be used to quickly create detailed full color cross-sections. This module is a major upgrade to our very popular WinFence program. The mining version of this module has been specifically designed for the mining industry.

Topics will include creating and editing cross-sections, displaying fence diagrams in 3D.

This is for more advanced users of WinFence version 3 in StrataExplorer. Completion of level 1 is not required but recommended. Cross-section styles are used to control the formatting and boring or well data displayed. After a cross-section has been created it can be displayed in a page document for printing.

Topics will include creating and editing cross-section styles, displaying and printing cross-sections in page documents.

The WinLoG version 5 extension module of GaeaSynergy can be used to quickly and easily create, edit and print boring and well logs for a variety of industries. The environmental version of this module has been specifically designed for the environmental industry with data types and columns tailored to this industry.
