GAEA Technologies offers a variety of training services to help you get the
most from our software. Whether you are an experienced user or a beginner
our comprehensive training will improve your ability and efficiency in using
the software. After taking this course, we know you will also receive $100
off your next software purchase from GAEA.

In addition to the courses below, GAEA will
also provide on-site training at your facility. In-house training include
an unlimited number of attendees and an agenda customized to your needs.
The cost is $1500 US per day plus expenses.
Get a 50% Software
Credit on In-house Courses
During the summer we are offering a
50% software credit on all courses booked by the end of August 2008. The cost of an
in-house course is $1500 US per day plus expenses. When you book your
course you will receive a $750 software credit for every day
booked. The course itself only has to be booked in the summer, the actual
course can occur any time in 2008.
This credit can be used to purchase any of
our internally developed programs; WinLoG, WinFence, Pocket WinLoG,
WinSieve, Pocket ESA, POLLUTEv7, or Rapid Geotechnical Reporting.
Course Descriptions
WinLoG topics include:
- Designing templates - headers and
footers, 2 page templates, logos, linked text columns, lithology
selection, tables
- Project and data management - creating
projects, restoring databases, network installation
- Entering boring and well data - linked
columns entry, sample data entry, well components, lithology entry
- Importing and exporting data - exchange
formats, bitmap and other formats, competitor formats
- Lithologic and well macros - creation
and use of macros
- Distributing boring and well logs to
clients - use of free WinLoG Log Viewer
WinFence topics include:
- Designing templates - title blocks,
legends, location maps, scales
- Creating cross-sections - path
specification, automatic strata generation, scaling
- Editing strata - strata types and
definition, adding and deleting strata, editing boundaries
- Viewing and manipulating fence diagrams
- display options, moving around in 3D world, output templates
In addition to the above topics, time will
be set aside to answer questions and problems from the attendees.
